Terms of Service

These are private-beta terms. Business identity, governing law, paid-plan pricing, and the formal support contact must be finalized before public registration or sales begin.

The service

Chinese Sprint provides tools for learning Mandarin Chinese, including cards, listening, handwriting, lessons, stories, and progress synchronization. It is an educational aid and does not guarantee fluency, examination results, or a particular learning outcome.

Your account

You must provide accurate registration information, protect your credentials, and notify us if you believe your account is compromised. You may not share beta invitations publicly, automate abusive requests, probe other accounts, or interfere with service operation.

Your content

You retain ownership of cards, notes, and lesson text you create. You grant Chinese Sprint only the limited permission needed to store, synchronize, process, and display that content for you. You are responsible for having permission to upload or reproduce third-party material.

Chinese Sprint content

The application, original lessons, recordings, branding, and interface are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Open-source dictionaries and stroke-order components remain governed by their respective licenses and attributions.

Private beta

Beta features may change, fail, or be removed. Keep local exports of progress you cannot afford to lose. We may suspend an account to protect users, investigate abuse, or maintain the service.

Paid plans

Paid plans are not yet active. Before purchase, we will display the price, renewal interval, included features, cancellation method, refund terms, and any app-store-specific conditions. Store purchases will also be governed by the relevant platform rules.

Acceptable use

Do not use Chinese Sprint to distribute unlawful, infringing, harmful, or malicious content; attempt unauthorized access; evade plan limits; scrape the service; or burden infrastructure beyond normal learning activity.

Availability and liability

The beta is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We will use reasonable care but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every translation, pronunciation, or learning recommendation is error-free.

Termination

You can delete your account from the app. We may terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security threats, or legal requirements. Clauses that naturally survive termination—including ownership and liability provisions—continue to apply.

Contact and changes

The final legal contact and business address will be published before public registration. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email when email delivery is enabled.
